BJP foreign affairs chief Chauthaiwale arriving in Kathmandu today, to hold high-level meetings



KATHMANDU: Foreign Department Head of India’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Vijay Chauthaiwale, who arrived in Dhangadhi on Sunday, is holding political meetings with Nepali leaders today.

Chauthaiwale, who arrived in Dhangadhi by road to participate in the International Manaskhand Conference in Sudurpaschim Province, is scheduled to fly to Kathmandu today.

He is scheduled to hold meetings with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Foreign Minister NP Saud, and other leaders.

It is said that preparations for Prime Minister Dahal’s visit to India in the near future will be discussed in the meeting.

The date of Prime Minister Dahal’s India visit has not been fixed yet.

Sources have claimed that preparations are being made for Prime Minister Dahal’s visit to India in the last week of Baisakh after the detailed project report (DPR) of the Raxaul-Kathmandu Railway is prepared.
