Rainfall likely to continue for three days



KATHMANDU: Some parts of the country are witnessing light to moderate rainfall with the mixed impact of the local and westerly winds, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

It will rain for three days and thundershowers are likely in most parts afternoon today, said the meteorologist Prativa Manandhar.

Currently, most parts of the west and Sudurpaschim are receiving rainfall. There is a possibility of light to moderate thundershowers and a storm in some parts of the Hill and a few in the Tarai tomorrow with the entire country remaining partially to generally cloudy, according to the weather details issued by the Division.

Similarly, light to moderate thundershowers are likely in some part of the Hill and a few in the Tarai on coming Sunday.
