NSP Chairman Bhattarai leaving for India today for a 7-day visit



KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and Chairman of Nepal Samajwadi Party (NSP) Dr. Baburam Bhattarai is leaving for India today on a seven-day visit.

He is scheduled to hold discussions and interact with the Nepali community and give lectures on Nepal’s economic development.

During his visit to India, Bhattarai is scheduled to meet with intellectuals and civil society leaders who are knowledgeable about Nepal-India relations there.

Bhattarai’s program will focus on Goa, Karnataka, New Delhi and Chandigarh.

He will return home on September 22.
