Chinese Ambassador Song holds talks with RSP Chair Lamichhane



KATHMANDU: Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Rabi Lamichhane held talks with the Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Chen Song, at the Vanasthali party office today.

The meeting also saw the presence of Shishir Khanal, a member of the House of Representatives and the head of the party’s Foreign Relations Department, Lima Adhikari.

The focal points of the conversation revolved around matters of shared interest between Nepal and China.

The discussions encompassed economic development, good governance, and rural progress within the nation.

During the exchange, Ambassador Song highlighted the attention directed towards issues concerning the northern border region.

Immediate steps will be taken to address these concerns expeditiously, he said.

During the talks, Lamichhane conveyed his party’s unwavering commitment to the “One China Policy”.
