Sudurpaschim Province budget passed at 10 pm Saturday



KATHMANDU: The budget of Sudurpaschim Province government has been passed by a majority at 10 pm on Saturday.

The budget of the province government for the financial year 2080/081 was passed last night.

The main opposition party CPN-UML boycotted the provincial assembly meeting held on Saturday.

However, amid the UML boycott, the province government passed the budget for the next financial year with a majority.

A meeting of the ruling coalition held on Saturday had urged the coalition parties to issue a whip to vote in favor of the budget.
