Budget allocated to Madhes is less than revenue from there: Dr. CK Raut

KATHMANDU: Janamat Party Nepal Chair Dr. CK Raut complained that the budget allocated to Madhes province is less than the revenue collected from there.

Taking part in the meeting of the House of Representatives on Friday, he complained that although Madhes contributed significantly to the revenue, the government did not respect the contribution of Madhes.

The Janamat Party Chair demanded an answer from the government saying that the budget was less than the revenue from Madhes.

He expressed displeasure that the budget could not address the demands of the youth who are going abroad in desperation.

Dr. Raut remarked that the budget seems like official loot from four gangsters.
