Four injured in Dang jeep mishap

DANG: Four people got seriously injured when a jeep heading to Rolpa from Tulsipur met with an accident at Srikhola in Tulsipur-3, Lahurechaur on Friday morning.

A double cap jeep Ra 1 Ja 556, which was going from Tulsipur to Rolpa, met with an accident at Srikhola in Tulsipur-3 Lahurechaur. The jeep fell about 40 meters from the road.

DSP Pushparaj Malla, Head of Area Police Office, Tulsipur informed that 10 injured persons were rescued and taken to Rapti Regional Hospital for treatment.

The condition of four people including the driver is critical in the accident. The jeep met with an accident around 10.30 am on Friday morning.

Four injured people have been referred to Nepalgunj.

DSP Malla mentioned that the preliminary investigation shows that the jeep met with an accident due to over-speed.
