JSP holding central execution committee meeting today



KATHMANDU: The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), a component in the 10-party coalition, is holding a meeting of its central execution committee today.

Head of the party’s Publicity Department, Purna Basnet,  said that the party is holding a meeting to discuss the Vice Presidential election to be held on Friday and the filling of one vacant proportional seat in the House of Representatives.

JSP’s one seat is vacant after the death of its proportional member of parliament Shahnaz Rahman.

Meanwhile, the meeting will also discuss the vice presidential election to be held on Friday.

JSP’s Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav and Asta Laxmi Shakya of CPN-UML are candidates for the post of Vice President.
