PM to expand cabinet on Tuesday

KATHMANDU: The ruling parties have finalized the distribution of ministerial portfolios on Monday evening.

Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane said that the new ministers will be sworn in on Tuesday.

He, however, did not give the official information about the portfolios as the parties would hold internal discussions before the swearing-in at 1 o’clock on Tuesday.

Lamichhane, who is also the Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), said that the all-party meeting, including the Nepali Congress called by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda will be held only after the swearing-in of the newly-appointed ministers.
