PM Dahal and UML Chairman Oli discuss cabinet expansion

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ discussed cabinet expansion, election of Speaker of the House of Representatives, among other issues with CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli on Monday morning.

PM Dahal reached Oli’s residence in Balkot for the second time after taking the vote of confidence from the Parliament.

Even after Prime Minister Dahal received the vote of confidence, there is a delay in the expansion of the cabinet.

In the meantime, the scheduled meeting of the ruling coalition could not be held.

Prime Minister Prachanda has called an all-party meeting on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Dahal is doing homework for expansion of his Cabinet after taking a vote of confidence from parliament on January 10.

They held a meeting on Sunday evening as well.

Meetings between the leaders have become frequent with the approaching election to the post of Speaker on coming Wednesday.
