Man found dead in Baglung



BAGLUNG: A 40-year-old man was found dead in the grassland of Bhaise, Galkot Municipality-5 in Baglung district today.

The dead man was identified as Jhaliram Pun Magar of Tarakhola Rural Municipality-5 in the district, according to the Area Police Office, Galkot.

Locals informed the police as soon as they saw the dead body in the grassland around 8:00 am.

According to the police, the deceased Pun had been staying with his spouse in a rented room at Hatiya of Galkot Municipality in the district.

It is suspected that Pun might have fallen off the cliff after consuming alcohol, said the Chairperson of Galkot Municipality-5, Pawan Hamal.

The dead body has been taken to the Town Hospital for postmortem.

Further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
