NC will not play the game of overthrowing govt:  NC Shekhar Koirala

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has said that his party would not be involved in the game of overthrowing the government anymore.

Speaking to the media after the Work Executive Committee meeting held at the party office Sanepa on Wednesday, Dr. Koirala said that the NC will not play the game of overthrowing the government led by CPN- Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

He informed that the government will be complete only after PM Dahal’s taking the vote of confidence. Prime Minister Dahal is preparing to take a vote of confidence on March 20.

Dr. Koirala claimed that Prime Minister Dahal and NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba have the skills to reconcile the parties in the coalition government.

“Our president also has the art of making alliances. That’s why he has been holding on until now,” he said, adding, “The Prime Minister also has that skill. There is give and take in all parties the government will be expanded accordingly.”
