Yeti Air plane crashes near Pokhara Airport



POKHARA: Yeti Airlines plane crashed near Pokhara Airport on Sunday morning.

According to Kaski Police Chief SP Ajay KC, the Yeti Air ATR flight from Kathmandu met with an accident while landing.

Chief District Officer of Kaski, Tek Bahadur KC, said that the plane, which was in the process of landing, had an accident in the gorge of Seti, some 2 km from the airport.

Security personnel and ambulances have been mobilized for rescue.

There were 72 people on board, including crew members.

Details of the accident are yet to come.
