All crusher industries shut in Dang



DANG: With the directive of the Ministry of Home Affairs on January 4 to shut down the illegally run crusher industries, all crusher industries in the district of Dang have been shut.

Issuing a public notice, the District Administration Office, Dang, ordered to stop mining from such industries.

Currently, all crusher industries have been closed. It is said that legally operating crusher plants would be given permission to resume after the verification process.

The Office has also formed an investigation and monitoring committee under the leadership of Assistant Chief District Officer Sabitra Thapa.

The monitoring committee shall have representation of the District Coordination Committee, crusher entrepreneurs, Division Forest Office, District Police Office, Armed Police Force, Nepal, Survey Office, Road Division Office, Nepal Electricity Authority Office and concerned local levels.

The committee shall advance the probe process by thoroughly studying the documents.

Currently, 12 crusher industries and 32 sand processing centres are in operation but eight industries having permission for sand processing are working as crusher plants.
