‘Mission 84’ embodies aspirations of Nepali people: UML Chair Oli



BHOJPUR: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has emphasized that the ‘Mission 84’ campaign, launched with the vision of a “Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepalis”, is tied to the collective aspirations of the Nepali people.

The “Mission 84” initiative represents the UML’s ambitious goal of securing a majority of seats in the parliament through the elections slated for 2084 BS and establishing its own government without reliance on other political parties, Oli claimed.

Addressing a gathering at in Bhokpur on Thursday, he underscored that this campaign belongs not only to the UML but also to the broader spectrum of the Nepali populace.

Reflecting on the UML’s track record, Oli highlighted the party’s contributions to national development during its three-and-a-half-year tenure leading the government.

Oli, also the former Prime Minister, stressed the importance of any party joining the government being patriotic, committed to development, and supportive of good governance.

The team participating in the resolution campaign reached Bhojpur is set to continue its journey to Tehrathum via Dhankuta, engaging in programs organized in the eastern rural municipalities of Bhojpur along the way.
