NC leader Karki appointed Koshi Province Chief Minister



BIRATNAGAR: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Kedar Karki has been appointed as the Chief Minister of Koshi Province on Saturday.

Province Chief Parsuram Khapung appointed Karki as the Chief Minister.

Earlier, Koshi Province Chief Khapung had scheduled the identification of lawmakers for Saturday, starting at 8:00 am.

Maoist Center’s Indra Angbo and Karki, both Koshi Pradesh Assembly members, had submitted claims, accompanied by signatures asserting the backing of 47 members for their appointment as the Chief Minister of Koshi Province.
