Unidentified group sets school documents on fire in Baitadi



BAITADI: An unidentified group has set fire to a school building in Dashrath Chand Municipality-6 of the district.

The targeted institution, Kalika High School, suffered significant losses, including the destruction of important documents stored in its office.

Padmaraj Lekhak, the school’s headmaster, said that the unidentified group gained entry into the school office under the cover of darkness, forcibly breaking through the office door.

Once inside, they proceeded to set fire to important documents, which were subsequently reduced to ashes on the gallery floor.

This act of arson has raised concerns among local residents and the educational community alike, he said.

The school administration has reported the incident to the local police, who are now investigating the case further.
