Janamat Party’s Anita Devi to be sworn in today



KATHMANDU: Anita Devi of the Janamat Party is set to officially assume her duties today, taking the oath of office and secrecy.

Sources at the President’s Office said all arrangements are in place for the ceremony, scheduled for 10 am.

In a strategic move on Sunday, the CPN-Maoist Center recalled Amanlal Modi, the Minister of Federal Affairs and General Administration, with the intention of integrating the Janamat Party into the government.

Reliable sources have indicated that Anita Devi will be sworn in as the Minister of Federal Affairs and General Administration.
