Nepal sees six new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases six



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of six new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

Out of the confirmed cases, seven were detected through the RT-PCR method and four through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,876 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 356 were tested through RT-PCR method and 1,500 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 19 active cases in the country as two infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
