Global Money Week-2023: Awaring youths about fiscal education



KATHMANDU: In a bid to aware youths of the importance of fiscal education, Nepal is observing Global Money Week-2023 from March 20.

The event shall continue till March 26. Being marked since 2012, the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is coordinating the event.

In Nepal, banks and financial institutions, Department of Cooperative and cooperative institutions, Nepal Insurance Authority, Nepal Securities Board, National Banking Institute, Employees Provident Fund, Citizen Investment Trust and other institutions will mark the week-long event across the country with the coordination of Nepal Rastra Bank.

Director of Nepal Rastra Bank and Assistant Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Pokharel said that the main objective of the event is to enable youth to have practical knowledge and skills by making them able and efficient.

The permanent theme of the Global Money Week is ‘Learn, Save, Earn’ while this year’s slogan for the week is ‘Plan Your Money, Plant Your Future’.
