DADELDHURA: The police nabbed a mother and a step mother to investigate over a child’s death in Dadeldhura.
The body of eight-year-old Bharat Bohara from Dandakharka of Aatital Rural Municipality-8 was found buried in a ditch on Saturday.
Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Kusum Bahadur Nayak, shared that Bohara’s body was excavated from the ditch near the house.
Police have arrested the child’s mother and his step-mother for the investigation.
The child was out of contact with family members since December 27.
The family had informed the police and asked for searching the missing boy, added Police Inspector Nayak.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
