FNCN president Gahatraj nabbed for creating fake graduation certificates

KATHMANDU: Chari Bahadur (CB) Gahatraj, the president of the Federation of National Christian Nepal (FNCN), has been apprehended in connection with creating fake graduation certificates. The police took Gahatraj into custody on Tuesday, alleging misuse of counterfeit undergraduate certificates.

According to Kumodh Dhungel, the spokesperson for the District Police Range in Kathmandu, Gahatraj was arrested on Tuesday afternoon. He faces accusations of fabricating transcripts, migration documents, and related paperwork for undergraduate studies.

Gahatraj had allegedly registered a magazine named ‘Great Campaign’ and was accused of fabricating documents related to his undergraduate studies during this registration.

Gahatraj had produced documents claiming he graduated with first-class honors from the Pashupati Multiple Campus, Chabahil, Kathmandu. However, upon investigation, it was confirmed that the certificate had been forged.
