NC’s able to clear standoff: DPM Khadka

JAJARKOT: Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka has reminded us that the Nepali Congress (NC) bears the history of its capacity to clear standoffs and face crises.

Inaugurating that district convention of the Jajarkot committee of the party here Friday, DPM Khadka viewed the country as now facing economic problems.

Various countries were in conflict across the world, which has resulted in economic hardship in Nepal, according to him.

The constitution was getting attacked from various sides under the pretext of religion and ethnicity, he said, adding that the time has come to foil such attacks.

He further said it was worrying that the government was forced to carry out development works by taking loans.

The Vice President of the Nepali Congress Khadka reminded that both leaders and people’s representatives must be corrected. Transformation in the party is imperative, he stressed.
