Health Minister encourages citizens to dedicate regular time to physical exercise

BHARATPUR: Minister for Health and Population, Mohan Bahadur Basnet, has urged citizens to dedicate an hour each day to engage in physical exercise.

While inaugurating a national awareness campaign ‘ Beautiful Mind’ at Khaireni municipality-11 in Chitwan, the Health Minister said,” Regular physical exercise is essential for maintaining sound health.”

He added that the practice could prevent the issues of chronic health issues, promoting mental well-being as well.

Sharing about his personal routine, the Minister said he manages an hour each day either in the morning or evening for physical activities.

The Minister took the opportunity to highlight the government’s commitment to improving citizens’ access to healthcare facilities and education.
