KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) has issued an order to the police, instructing them to present Krishna Bahadur Raut, the Secretary at the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, before the court within a span of 24 hours.

Raut was apprehended in connection with the Baluwatar land grab scam by Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal police.

The Single Benche of Justice Til Prasad Shrestha, issued the order on Thursday, emphasizing the urgent need to produce Raut in court within the stipulated time.
