Coffee conference to be held on June 17-20



KATHMANDU: Nepal Coffee Entrepreneurs’ Federation (NCEF) has decided to organize the national coffee conference and exhibition, 2080 BS.

The coffee conference will be held in federal capital, Kathmandu, from June 17 to 20.

The NCEF shared information that the event would be organized with the collaboration of Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, and National Tea and Coffee Development Board.

It has been informed that the conference and exhibition were being organized with the aim of promoting both domestic and foreign markets of coffee produced in Nepal.

The exhibition of the products would play a significant role to the development of this sector, NCEF stated.

During the conference, national and international experts will hold interaction on national policy and laws for the promotion of coffee.

The conference will have participation of coffee producers, promoters, entrepreneurs, implements producers and exporters, according to Federation Chairman Omnath Adhikari.

There will be competition in different fields of coffee and winners awarded. It is believed that the conference and exhibition would encourage coffee producers and entrepreneurs.
