181 Chinese tourists arrive in Kathmandu on chartered flight to celebrate Nepali New Year



KATHMANDU: A total of 181 Chinese tourists landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu on a chartered flight Thursday morning to celebrate Nepali New Year 2080 BS.

Minister of Culture Tourism and Civil Aviation Sudan Kiranti welcomed the Chinese tourists at the TIA.

Minister Kirati said, “With the arrival of the Nepali New Year 2080, we extend warm welcome to the Chinese tourists on behalf of Nepal and the Nepali people.”

He also expressed the belief that the New Year and the beginning of the decade would bring happiness and prosperity for the people of Nepal.
