APAN’s 55th conference to kick off in Kathmandu today



KATHMANDU: The 55th conference of Asia Pacific Advance Network (APAN) is scheduled to kick off in Kathmandu on Monday.

According to Nepal Research and Education Network (NREN), one of the organizers of the event, the conference will be inaugurated by Minister for Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma.

NREN informed that this is the first time the conference is held in Nepal.
Representatives of 17 countries from the Asia Pacific region will participate in the conference.

The event is scheduled to conclude on March 17.

The program has been organized in collaboration of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology.
