Nepal sees one new coronavirus case in 24 hours, active cases six



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded one new case of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

The confirmed case was detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 549 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 547 were tested through RT-PCR method and two through Antigen method.

Currently, there are six active cases in the country as two infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,020 to date.
