Three die in Makawanpur road mishap



HETAUDA: Three youth died in a road mishap occurred at Manahari of Makawanpur district last night.

According to the police, the deceased are Dharma Raj Moktan, 32, and Milan Moktan, 30, of Manahari Rural Municipality-8 and Rupesh Tamang, 32, of Raksirang Rural Municipality-3 in the district.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Tek Bahadur Karki said that the three were critically hurt after a scooter (Na 39 Pa 1439) they were riding met an accident at Jyamire area of Manahari-9 along the East-West Highway.

The youth died while receiving treatment at a medical college in Bharatpur, Chitwan.

DSP Karki said that further investigations into the case are initiated.
