Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Surges by 36.68 Points



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a substantial increase of 36.68 points on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

Despite a decline on Monday following the active trading session on Sunday, the market rebounded with a noteworthy surge on Tuesday.

Closing at 1985.44 points, the NEPSE index soared by 36.68 points on Tuesday. A total of 95,433 transactions of 1,24,631,168 shares were traded, accumulating a business worth NPR 4,30,90,19,196.

Amidst the fluctuation, the share prices of 208 companies rose while 29 companies witnessed a decline, and 5 companies remained stable in their share prices.

On Sunday, the NEPSE index had reached 1963.98 points after a notable increase of 111.20 points.

During the trading session involving 7,14,000 shares from 244 companies, a business worth NPR 48,24,82,000 was conducted today.
