KATHMANDU: Following a five-day visit to Nepal, Wang Junzheng, Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party’s Tibet Autonomous Region, has departed for Colombo.
The Chinese delegation, which arrived in Kathmandu on Wednesday, engaged in high-level meetings throughout their stay.
During the visit, Junzheng met with President Ramchandra Paudel, Vice President Ramsahaya Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli, National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Timilsina, and other dignitaries. Additionally, they toured Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Basantpur.
Chen Song, the Chinese ambassador in Nepal, was present at Tribhuvan Airport to bid farewell to Wang Junzheng’s team.
