KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division said that the prevailing westerly wind is currently influencing weather patterns across the country.
While the rest of the country experiences generally clear conditions, the hilly regions are expected to be partly cloudy.
The Division has highlighted the likelihood of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in the hilly areas of the Koshi region this afternoon.
Furthermore, the Division also anticipated snowfall in some hilly and Himalayan areas, with clear weather expected in the remaining parts of the country.
As night falls, the forecast indicates generally clear conditions for the rest of the country, while the hilly areas may continue to experience partly cloudy skies.
