CK Raut-led Janamat Party likely to join govt tomorrow

KATHMANDU: The CK Raut-led Janamat Party is poised to become part of the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”-led government on Sunday.

Sources close to the Prime Minister have indicated that the party’s inclusion in the government is imminent.

Reports suggest that the party has already submitted a name (Anita Devi Sah) for a ministerial position, although the specific ministry has yet to be finalized.

Previously, the Janamat Party had been a participant in the Dahal-led government before opting to exit at a later point.

Abdul Khan of the Janamat Party had previously served as the Minister of Drinking Water during that time.
