Lalita Niwas Land Grab case: Samarjung Company’s assistant accountant arrested



KATHMANDU: The Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal police arrested Binod Poudel, the then associate accountant of Samarjung Company, in the Lalita Niwas Land Grab case.

According to SSP Dinesh Acharya, Poudel was arrested from Chabahil area of Kathmandu on Wednesday.

CIB is investigating the case of government document acquisition in the case of irregularity in transferring the government land of Lalita Niwas in the name of an individual.

The 143 ropani land of Lalita Niwas was in the ownership of the Samarjung Company under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
