NEPSE increases by 7.79 points on Monday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has witnessed a modest rise in the stock market on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

The stock market, which increased by more than 40 points yesterday, increased by 7.79 points to 1,987.87 points today.

Today, the share of hotel and tourism group increased remarkably. The shares of the development bank and finance group fell by double digits.
Today, the transaction amount also decreased compared to yesterday.

74 lakh 54 thousand shares of 285 companies were traded for 2.886 billion rupees.

Soaltee Hotel became the company to have the highest transactions today. The Hotel got share transactions worth 152.8 million rupees today.

The shares of Abhiyan Microfinance, Kalinchowk Darshan, and Bhugol Energy have increased by 10 percent. Today, Prabhu Smart Fund’s shares fell by 10 percent on a day when the overall market rose nominally.
