Foreign Minister Saud, Indian Foreign Minister Jaishanker meet in Dhaka



KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Foreign Minister NP Saud and Indian Foreign Minister Dr. S Jaishankar held a meeting in Dhaka, Bangladesh on Friday.

Foreign Minister Saud is in Dhaka to participate in the two-day ‘Sixth Indian Ocean Conference-2023’.

This is Saud’s first meeting with Dr. Jaishankar after being appointed as Foreign Minister of Nepal.

After the meeting, Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar congratulated Saud on his new responsibilities, sharing a photo on Twitter.

Jaishankar mentioned that during the meeting, they discussed mutual partnership, energy, connectivity, and people-to-people relations between the two countries.

In a reply tweet, Foreign Minister Saud expressed happiness at his meeting with the Indian counterpart.
