RSP Chairman Lamichhane urges PM Dahal to take the investigation against fake Bhutanese refugees to a logical end

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Rabi Lamichhane has fervently appealed to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ to demonstrate unwavering resolve in combating corruption.

During a meeting held at the official residence of Prime Minister Prachanda in Baluwatar on Friday, Lamichhane expressed his satisfaction with the ongoing investigation into the fraudulent Bhutanese refugee scam.

“I expressed my appreciation to the Prime Minister for taking decisive action in the ongoing investigation of the refugee scam,” Lamichhane stated.

Lamichhane said he met Prime Minister Dahal at a time when the latter was facing pressure to affect the investigation.

“The Prime Minister was in high spirits,” he said.

Lamichhane met Prime Minister Dahal for the first time after the RSP withdrew its support to the Dahal-led government.
