Lumbini Province Amik Sherchan (R) administering oath of office and secrecy to Leela Giri, Chief Minister of Lumbini Province on Thursday.
RUPANDEHI: Leela Giri, who was appointed as the Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, took the oath of office and secrecy on Thursday.
Lumbini State Chief Amik Sherchan administered the oath to Giri.
State Chief had on Wednesday appointed Giri as the Chief Minister according to Clause 2 of Article 168 of the Constitution.
Along with Chief Minister Giri, two other ministers also took oath today.
CPN-Maoist Center’s Krishna KC Nomla and CPN-UML’s Chet Narayan Acharya took oath today.
