KATHMANDU: The ACC U-19 Asia Cup, which kicked off on Friday in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is set for two encounters today as part of Group ‘B’.
In the first match, the UAE will take on the young squad from Sri Lanka, followed by a face-off between Japan and Bangladesh in the second match.
Both contests are scheduled to commence at 11:15 am Nepali time.
In Group B, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have secured victories in their initial matches, earning two points each, while Japan and the UAE are yet to open their accounts.
Meanwhile, Group A, comprising Nepal, Pakistan, India, and Afghanistan, has seen each team playing two matches.
Pakistan leads the group with back-to-back victories, amassing four points. India and Afghanistan have both secured two points each, while Nepal is yet to register a win.
Nepal faced a defeat against Pakistan by seven wickets in the first match and a 73-run loss to Afghanistan in the second match.
The upcoming clash on Tuesday will see Nepal challenging India.
