Youth found dead near Bagmati river



KATHMANDU: A body of a youth was retrieved from the bank of Bagmati river near the Baneshwor-based vegetable market at Kathmandu metropolis-31.

The Kathmandu District Police Range confirmed the deceased as Bikash Mahara, 20, of Shankhamul.

Range Spokesperson Superintendent of Police, Kumud Dhungel said the police also found a part of a used syringe and a mobile set (dumb phone).

During the police preliminary investigation into the matter, Mahara had the drug addiction issue. Police are further investigating the case.
