Voting taking place to elect UML leadership in Sudurpaschim today

SUDURPASCHIM: Voting is taking place today to elect the CPN-UML Sudurpaschim Province Committee.

The vote, which was originally scheduled to start at 5 pm on Tuesday, was postponed to reach a consensus.

However, since the leaders failed to forge a consensus, they decided to go for a vote.

The election committee has earlier designated a period for filing complaints against the candidates.

As per the election schedule, the final list of candidates was published on Tuesday afternoon.

Three candidates—Krishna Bahadur Jaisee, Bachan Bahadur Singh, and Kamal Timilsina—have vied for the UML’s Sudurpaschim chairmanship.
