KATHMANDU: Lawmakers of both the ruling and opposition parties obstructed today’s meeting of the National Assembly (NA).

NA members were expressing their views on current affairs when NA Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsina tried to take the meeting forward on the agenda rather than giving time to the lawmakers to speak.

Soon after, CPN-UML lawmakers stood from their respective seats and protested.

Since the lawmakers of both the ruling as well as opposition parties stood up demanding that they should get tome to speak, NC Chairman Timilsina adjourned the meeting until August 16.
