NA concludes deliberation on appropriation bill



KATHMANDU: Deliberation on the appropriation bill, 2080 has been over in the National Assembly meeting. However, questions raised during the deliberation would be answered from Wednesday.

In the meeting on Tuesday, deliberation was held on the headings under several ministries including the Ministry of Health and Population, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the National Planning Commission, and Defense Ministry, and the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Office of President, and Office of Vice President.

Lawmakers Tara Bahadur Suwar, Durga Gurung, Jayanti Devi Rai, Shekhar Kumar Singh, Tul Prasad Bishwokarma, Narayan Dahal, Gopi Bahadur Sarki Achhami, Gopal Bahadur Basnet, Singh Bahadur BK, Jitendra Narayan Dev, Goma Devi Timilsina, Bina Pokharel, Madan Kumari Saha, Nar Bahadur Bista, Ramesh Jung Rayamajhi, and Devendra Dahal, among others, participated in the deliberation on Tuesday.

NA Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsina informed that the next meeting would furnish responses to the queries.

Meanwhile, the meeting passed a condolence motion over the demise of a former member of NA, Lal Kaji Gurung.

The NA would meet next at 11:01 on Wednesday.
