Koshi Province Assembly meeting called for Wednesday

BIRATNAGAR: The meeting of the Koshi Province Assembly, which has been postponed indefinitely, scheduled to be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, June 14.

After the CPN-Maoist Center withdrew its support to the government led by Chief Minister Hikmat Karki, the Provincial Assembly was adjourned from June 6 until further notice.

Karki’s government had planned to present the policy and program to the House on June 7. After the adjournment of the House, the policy program was not presented.

At this time, Speaker Baburam Gautam called the Parliament meeting.

Provincial Assembly Secretary Gopal Prasad Parajuli issued a notice on Sunday and informed about the schedule for the meeting.

Only on Sunday, the opposition parties of the province warned not to bring the budget from the ordinance.
