NEPSE increases by 40.48 points on Sunday

KATHMANDU: On the first trading day of the week, Nepal Stock Market increased by 40.48 points on Sunday.

The market increased by 2.09 percent to 1980.09 points.

On Sunday, all the sub-indices went green. The highest increase was in the investment sub-index (5.11 percent).

95,28,255 shares were bought and sold out of 61,450 transactions of 275 securities.

There was a transaction worth 3.45 billion rupees today.

The prices of Bhugol Energy Development Company and City Hotel increased to a positive circuit level on Sunday. City Hotel has been in business since Sunday.

The prices of securities including Guheshwari Merchant, Reliance Finance, and Citizen Investment Fund have increased remarkably today.

The prices of securities including Global IME Balanced Fund, Megha Mutual Fund, and Mankamana Smart Microfinance decreased the most.
