Nepal sees 106 coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 469



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 106 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 74 were tested through the RT-PCR method and  32 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 2,436 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of them, 476 swabs were tested through the RT-PCR method and 1,960 through the Antigen method.

There are 469 active cases in Nepal as 48 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

There was one coronavirus-related death recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,021 to date.
