Janamat Party’s Mamata Jha registers nomination for vice-presidential post



KATHMANDU: Mamata Jha of the Janamat Party has registered her candidacy for the position of Vice President from the ten-party ruling coalition.

She registered her candidacy after reaching the Lhotse Hall of Parliament House in New Baneshwar on Saturday afternoon.

The ruling coalition decided to make Mamata Jha of the Janamat Party the candidate for the post of Vice-President this morning.

The meeting of the 10-party alliance held at Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’s official residence in Baluwatar on Saturday morning reached an agreement.
