Eight-party coalition finalizing vice presidential candidate today



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the top leaders of the eight-party coalition is taking place this morning to finalize the name of the Vice Presidential candidate.

The meeting to be held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar will finalize the name of a common candidate for the post of the country’s Vice President.

Nomination papers are being filed today for the election of the new Vice President of the country to be held on coming March 17.

Filing of nominations will take place at the Lhotse Hall of the Parliament Building in Naya Baneshwor, Kathmandu from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on today (Saturday).
