KATHMANDU: Amidst mounting concerns over governance, Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Thapa voiced deep apprehension at the persistent wave of irregularities and scandals, underscoring the pressing need for swift resolutions rather than the recurring cycle of unresolved issues.

During the launch event of the NC’s official paper, Nepal Pukar, on Sunday, Thapa highlighted the public’s growing discontent with mismanagement.

“During our tenure in government, when our influence was at its peak, and our policies guided the nation, why do we witness a surge in mismanagement and numerous scandals?” questioned Thapa. He further pondered on the underlying causes, seeking clarity on the core issues and their origins.

Thapa lamented the continuous recurrence of irregularities, considering it a disheartening reality for both citizens and the nation. He emphasized the urgency of addressing these issues promptly rather than allowing them to persist unresolved.

The NC General Secretary emphasized that the NC, beyond being a party promising good governance, was fundamentally established to ensure and uphold it.
